Jiffy is designed to minimize the information we receive. The Mac app records and edits videos on your device. When you choose Google Drive sharing, files are sent directly to the Google account you authorize.

Information we collect

We may receive your email address when you join the mailing list, contact support, or purchase Jiffy. Lemon Squeezy processes checkout, tax, receipts, and license information as our merchant of record. Resend processes email subscriptions and transactional email delivery.

App data

Recordings, camera video, audio, cursor information, transcripts, captions, and editing projects are processed locally unless you explicitly export or share them. Jiffy uses Google’s limited Drive file permission to create and manage files the app uploads; it does not request access to unrelated Drive files.

Website data

Our hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and diagnostic logs for security and reliable delivery. We may use privacy-conscious aggregate analytics to understand site performance and conversion.

Retention and your choices

Purchase records are retained as required for accounting, fraud prevention, and support. Mailing-list contacts remain until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. You can request access, correction, or deletion by emailing hello@jiffyrecord.com.

Processors and international transfers

We use Vercel for hosting, Lemon Squeezy for commerce and licensing, Resend for email, and Google APIs only when you enable Drive sharing. These providers may process data in countries other than your own under their applicable safeguards.

Children

Jiffy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be dated on this page.
