JiffyRecord is a native Mac screen recorder and video editor for product demos, tutorials, and asynchronous communication. It combines screen capture, screenshots, an editable timeline, and local processing.
Who is JiffyRecord for?
Product teams, educators, creators, and support teams who want to explain something on screen and refine it before sharing.
Which Macs does JiffyRecord support?
JiffyRecord runs on macOS 14.0 or later. A few features need macOS 26: Jiffy Magic's Apple Intelligence mode, caption translation, and copying tables from a screenshot as cells. On macOS 14 and 15, Jiffy Magic runs in its on-device Basic mode.
Do recordings have to be uploaded?
Recording and editing happen locally on your Mac. You can export a video file; sharing through Google Drive is an optional step that you control.
Where are shared videos stored?
In your own Google Drive by default. Yearly Cloud plans, which are not on sale yet, add a second option: JiffyRecord Cloud, with 100 GB of storage on Cloud Personal ($89 a year) or 500 GB on Teams ($199 a year). It gives fast links and holds up when a public video gets heavy traffic. Cloud plans are billed yearly only.
Can I change automatic edits?
Yes. JiffyRecord’s timeline keeps edits such as cuts and zooms adjustable so you can review and refine the final result.
