## Facts

- What it is: Capture screenshots and screen video, polish every detail in a real timeline, and let Claude help through a private local control plane. Native for Mac.
- Platform: macOS 14.0 or later. Recording, editing and on-device AI run locally on the Mac. By default, shared videos are stored in the user's own Google Drive.
- Free plan: video exports carry a JiffyRecord watermark and end card and are capped at 1080p.
- Free plan and JiffyStudio: the Free plan adds a small JiffyRecord mark to JiffyStudio template designs; classic screenshots stay unmarked.
- Lifetime license: $59 one-time (founding price until November 17, 2026; the regular price is $99) for one person on up to two Macs. It includes one year of updates; renewing updates is optional at $19/year, and the version you own keeps working.
- Complete bundle: $129 (lifetime license plus one year of Cloud Personal).
- Cloud plans (billed yearly only, no monthly option; coming after launch): Cloud Personal $89/year for 1 member with 100 GB of hosted storage. Teams $199/year for up to 50 members with 500 GB of shared hosted storage.
- Cloud storage choice: each workspace keeps shared videos either in Google Drive (videos stay in the user's Drive; best for internal videos) or on JiffyRecord Cloud (fast instant links, built for public videos and heavy traffic). Videos can move between the two and keep the same link. Both use the JiffyRecord web player with comments, reactions, transcript, chapters, annotations and custom domains.
- Cloud lapse policy: if a Cloud plan ends, JiffyRecord Cloud videos stay read-only for 30 days (links play, owner can download), then are deleted. Renewing within 30 days restores everything. Videos in Google Drive are not affected.
