Make small text readable in screen recordings

Fix tiny interface text with better framing, deliberate zoom, and an export review at viewing size.

Fix framing before increasing resolution

A large desktop reduced to a small player makes text difficult to read even when the original capture is sharp. Record a smaller window or region and enlarge the app’s text when possible. Remove empty space that does not help the viewer understand the task.

Use zoom to explain a detail

Zoom into the control or result you are discussing, then return to the wider view when context matters. Avoid constant movement. In JiffyRecord, review the timing of automatic zooms and adjust any moment that moves attention away from the narration.

Check the final destination

Play the exported file at the size it will appear in a help article, chat, or social feed. Check both labels and captions. If the crop removes essential controls, change the framing rather than expecting viewers to infer the missing step.
